Blondies, brownies, and other such goods!
I made these fudgy brownies for my family this last October and decorated with icing to make a little pumpkin patch along with Halloween sprinkles. I'm still working on my piping skills, but my family thought it was cute, and the brownies turned out great!
Extra Fudgy Brownies
Ingredients
- 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
- 12 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 + 1/4 cups white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350° F. Line an 8 inch square pan with parchment paper.
- If needed, chop chocolate into chunks. Melt half of the chocolate in the microwave in 20 second bursts.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add in eggs and vanilla, beating for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Once cooled some, mix the melted chocolate into the wet mixture.
- In a seperate bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, and salt together. Add to wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Add remaining chocolate and fold into the batter.
- Transfer to prepared baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes, depending on how fudgy you want your brownies to be.
- Let cool slightly, slice, and enjoy!
